Robin has been an aspiring artist for over two decades, studying various forms of artwork including painting, charcoal, photography, sculpting and glass blowing.  Robin has had the privilege of studying under talented artists such as Bruno Lucchesi, Lisa Clague, Julius Forzano and Bill Lindquist, who have helped her develop her own unique style which is characterized by her minimalistic use of color, form and style.  As Henry Matisse once said, “all that is not useful to the picture is detrimental.”

Robin’s style is heavily influenced by her time living in the desert (both in the US Southwest and Middle East), by her love of fairy tales, fables and the whimsical.  Color, texture and light are focal points of her finished pieces, with the objective of having the viewer to enter a space of speculation.

Away from her love of art, Robin is the adoring mother of three boys (often the subject of her work), an avid reader, a former IBM salesperson and former Pan-Am airline attendant.  Robin received her Bachelor of Art from the University of Colorado.
